Black Country Local Leaders of Education recruitment

We are looking for outstanding school leaders who will help to perform key system leadership roles across schools, and whose own school has the capacity to provide effective assistance to other schools.

Are you the headteacher we need?

Black Country Local Leaders of Education (BCLLEs) essential criteria

What are the advantages of becoming a BCLLE?

This is a fantastic opportunity for you to make a real difference to schools that need your help in the Black Country. The BCLLE will act as a combination of coach, mentor, consultant and facilitator, working with the head and in most cases the senior leadership team and middle leaders. The BCLLE supports a range of other activities related to leadership and school development. The work also provides access for the BCLLE’s school staff to courses provided by NCSL and other bodies. The BCLLE (or the BCLLE’s school) will be paid a daily rate (£400 per day primary, £425 per day secondary) and expenses for his or her services.

The application process

If you would like to apply for the role of BCLLE, please contact the Project Team on 01902 824427 or email [email protected] and we will send you an application form. The closing date for applications for November training is 3 October.
