Independent applicants

Independent applicants are those who are working in independent schools, further education colleges, universities or are working outside of England. Independent applicants can apply for the Diploma of School Business Management (DSBM), but will not be eligible for government-funded places. The following statements should apply:

• "I am working outside of England, have identified a school at which I may conduct work-based study, consultation and research and I am able to meet the full cost of the course."
• "I am working in the independent school sector and am able to meet the full cost of the course."

Independent applicants must also ensure they meet the requirements of the programme detailed above.

The cost for self-funding, independent participants to complete DSBM is £3,100. Find out more about DSBM costs.
