Caroline is Chief Operating Officer for the College, working with the chief executive officer (CEO) and other strategic directors on the delivery of the College’s strategic vision and direction. She has line responsibility for Finance, Commercial Management, Human Resources, Corporate Planning, Facilities, Change and Performance Management, and Information Communications Technology (ICT) and Management Information Systems (MIS).
Caroline qualified as a chartered accountant in South Africa before moving to the UK in the mid 80s. She has held a diverse range of positions including audit and assurance partner of Coopers & Lybrand (now PwC) through to head of internal brand for Capital One in the UK, with a remit to increase the customer focus of the company, through to most recently being CEO of Derbyshire Health United, the provider of out-of-hours medical services for Derbyshire.
