Information that is gathered on the programme, such as attendance at face-to-face sessions, end-of-module assessments and personal information etc will be held on NCSL’s Learning Gateway. This information can be accessed regularly by the authorised partner and NCSL personnel. In addition, you will be able to access your own personal contact details to ensure that they are correct.
Participants should check their contact details and advise their training provider of any inaccuracies. A full briefing on the Learning Gateway and how it works will be provided at your first face-to-face session.
The training provider will rely on the participant to advise them of any changes to the information they hold.
We (NCSL and its partners) will only use information that we have about participants to enable us to deliver the programme effectively and efficiently. We will not use any personal information unless it complies with the procedures set out in the Data Protection Act 1998.

From time to time, we may make your data available to our business partners and third parties, including the media to promote the programmes and work that NCSL is involved in and carries out. By accepting these terms and conditions, you permit NCSL to use your name and school details in this way.
Participant-specific information will be gathered by NCSL and its partners. In addition, participants will be required to undertake a case study whilst on the programme. NCSL will want to retain this information and on occasion make it available to third parties particularly in order to promote the programme. In addition, NCSL will retain and catalogue case studies for reference purposes for future participants and researchers, authorship of which will remain anonymous. We will contact you to discuss before publishing materials from case study work.
