The Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) and NCSL are formally consulting on the proposed National Standards for School Leadership. The proposals have been developed in consultation with the Social Partnership. The Partnership consider that they are at a stage where it is appropriate to consult with all interested parties before further developing, refining and finalising the standards.
Feedback is being sought from members of the school workforce (leaders and aspiring leaders), governors, local and diocesan authority personnel and others working with school leaders on the proposed standards.
