School business managers, administrators or bursars operating in state-maintained schools in England or those with school business management related roles within local authorities are eligible for CSBM. NCSL provide a limited number of government-funded places on behalf of the Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF).
However, individuals who are not already undertaking a school business manager role based either within a school or a local authority, and who are looking to enter the school business management profession, are also able to apply for CSBM as an external applicant.
