A podcast is a series of audio broadcasts, offered through a subscription service. NCSL currently has a number of podcasts available, listed below.
Below are answers to some frequently asked questions about podcasting to help you successfully subscribe to this service.
How much does it cost to subscribe?
All our podcasts are available free of charge.
What software do I need?
In order to get podcasts onto your media player, you will need to download some podcast receiver software for your computer. iTunes, which comes with iPod devices, is freely available from the Apple website. Other devices include Juice Receiver, though you may find other software (both free and paid-for) elsewhere on the web.
How do I subscribe to a podcast?
Simply copy the url (web address) of the podcast feed into your podcast receiver. To do this in iTunes, click on ‘Advanced’ then choose ‘Subscribe to Podcast…’. An entry box will appear for you to copy the podcast url to. For example, the talk2learn highlights podcast url is:
http://www.bestukbettingsitesnotongamstop.co.com/mediastore/image2/podcast/t2l-highlights.xml
You can also find our podcasts by searching within the iTunes Music Store.

What format are our podcasts in?
Our podcasts are in high-quality mp3 56k stereo.
