EHP is delivered regionally by carefully selected organisations. These are known and referred to by us as regional providers. Their role is to provide regional support to EHP participants in establishing and meeting their learning needs. This may include a formal needs analysis, personal coaching, seeking out or booking training on your behalf and delivering New Visions in your local area.
You can use your flexible grant to book onto any of the events run by the regional providers, no matter which region you are situated in. This can be done once you have registered for EHP and have access to the Learning Gateway booking system – a number of examples are below. The Financial Management Standard in Schools (FMSiS) is a DCSF requirement that demonstrates a school is managed and governed well. It is now a legal requirement for all schools to meet the Standard.
Completing FMSiS is a whole-school process that requires the involvement of the headteacher, school business manager and finance governors/ clerk to the governors. You will leave the workshop having started to collect your evidence to meet the FMSiS standard.
