NCSL’s core business is to serve the needs of existing and future leaders, and our leadership programmes are at the very heart of this aim. The programmes are grouped under themes which reflect the needs of school leaders in different contexts and at each stage of their careers. They offer a wealth of opportunities to reflect on your own practice, work with colleagues, coaches and mentors, visit other schools, carry out research and explore the latest thinking on school leadership at your level.
The list below shows which programmes are most relevant at each career stage, however in some cases there can be some flexibility in, for example, jumping stages. See the eligibility criteria for each programme for more information. View an A-Z list of our programmes and find out more in our Prospectus 2008
